one sunny, chicago day, a girl named lauren landed in an airplane. she had all her bags in tow, going to visit her best friend. (that girl was molly.) and the two could not be more excited.

lauren is the "L" in "LOLLY". we live on opposite ends of the nation - me in chicago and her in denver. when we get to see each other, we always have to make the most of our visits. this time, she came to chicago, and we decided to make a field day of it.

our first stop was a light lunch at cheesecake factory, by the john hancock. and yes folks, that is pretzel covered chicken. mmm.
my sister claire tagged along on our adventure.
once we finished our lunch, we took a walk down michigan ave + snapped a few pics for the books.
i love this one. ^^
somehow we ended up at sprinkles cupcakes as our final stop.
we had to try the cupcake vending machine!

i'm so glad lauren and i have opportunities like this - we both feel so blessed to have each other and a way to connect. it makes me so happy. xo. molly
